Following its commitment to serving various sectors of the community, Full Scale successfully held several community outreach programs in 2023. Hereโs a recap of the outreach activities of the 2023 Full Scale Outreach Program.
In the last three years, Full Scale has ramped up its efforts to give back to different sectors of the Philippinesโ local communities. Partnering with several government units, schools, private organizations, and individuals, Full Scale is dedicated to helping out various causes and advocacies. In line with this, the company now regularly allots part of its annual budget to start new outreach programs and supplement existing ones.
Full Scaleโs long-term goal is to continue and expand its outreach programs. We aim to make an even bigger impact and become a proactive helper in society. With that said, weโre celebrating the success of all our community outreach projects for 2023.
2023 Full Scale Outreach Program
In 2023, Full Scale conducted several outreach activities together with our advocacy partners. Here are the highlights of this yearโs community outreach programs.
Nationwide Company Outreach Activities
Full Scale Outreach Day is an annual event organized by the company to give back to the community and support various charitable causes. This initiative started in 2021 with the initial funding coming from donations made by our employees who believe in the importance of helping others and positively impacting our society.
This yearโs initiatives focus on sustainable Community, Environment, Education, and Animal Welfare programs. We partnered with the local government units, schools, and non-government organizations from all over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Hereโs a rundown of simultaneous outreach events:
- Mangrove tree planting at Liloan, Cebu
- Cleanup drive for a community in Bohol
- Solar panel donations to Batang Pinangga Foundation in Cebu
- Computer laboratory renovation project for Cebu City National Science High School
- Donation of school supplies and wall fans to the beneficiaries of Daanghari Elementary School in Manila
- Construction of an animal shelter in partnership with the Island Rescue Organization in Cebu
- Donation of supplies to Bantay Hayop Davao
Full Scale Project Giving
Project Giving is another community outreach program that aims to provide funds and supplies to underprivileged schools and communities affected by crisis and calamity. Started in 2021, one of Project Givingโs initiatives was to provide meal packets to medical front liners in the provincial hospitals of Cebu. In the succeeding years, the Full Scale team also conducted a feeding program and school supply donation to an elementary school in a mountain barangay.
In the 2022 Project Giving, Full Scale started focusing its donation efforts on helping a school on an island barangay in Cebu. Pangan-an Elementary School was heavily affected by Typhoon Odette and has not completely recovered its facilities. Because of its far-flung location, itโs yet to receive the full range of calamity aid from both private and public sectors.
For 2023 Project Giving, Full Scale continues to support Panganan Elementary School by improving its damaged facilities. This year, we set out to renovate and construct new comfort rooms for the kids and faculty. Our employees also raised funds for the children to gift them more supplies and other day-to-day resources.
Last December 2, we turned over our monetary and in-kind donations to the school. We hosted a Christmas party for the kids, giving them new footwear, school bags, and books. The program was facilitated by Full Scale personnel and the schoolโs faculty members.
Full Scale and the Community: Whatโs Next?
Continuing the streak of successful outreach programs, Full Scale plans to extend its efforts to more causes in the future. We want to make a bigger impact in the local community that our team is a part of.
And as we continue to pursue meaningful community change, we also strive to better ourselves in our business aspects. As a software development company, our success in the industry will enable us to give back to the local community further. Along with our outreach efforts, weโre also ramping up our university partnership programs and offering more job opportunities for future job seekers.
