On February 20, 2023, Full Scale and our chosen four foundations and organizations signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to strengthen collaboration in building a better future for all. The agreement was signed in the presence of representatives from each organization and dignitaries from both the public and private sectors.
Full Scale is a leading technology company specializing in developing innovative tech solutions to tackle global challenges. This new MOA will enable them to work with four charitable organizations: Batang Pinangga Foundation, Cebu City National Science High School, Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation, Inc. (CCEF), and Island Rescue Organization (IRO).
Through this initiative, Full Scale will play an important role in helping these foundations achieve their missions by providing valuable resources.
The leaders of Full Scale and the four organizations attended the signing ceremony. Former Full Scale CEO Matt DeCoursey previously expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership during his opening remarks: “Make a difference in the communities in which you do business—that’s one of the models that we have at Full Scale… It was one of the most impactful things that I’ve ever seen employees in an organization I’ve been involved with do. And it originally started with our team realizing, “Hey, we’ve got a lot of employees here, there’s a lot of people. And maybe if we donated our time, we can make a difference.”
Full Scale’s community outreach program started in 2022, where Full Scale launched a nationwide outreach centered on making positive change. The company saw that the event brought a positive impact on the community they helped, as well as on the employees. That is why what was once considered a one-time event transformed into a more sustainable series of programs.
During the MOA signing, DeCoursey expressed making the outreach event sustainable. This is the company’s way of expressing gratitude to the employees who dedicated their time and talent. It is also a sign of gratitude to the community to which these professionals belong.
“So the idea of making Outreach Day sustainable, much like many of the things like it, means a lot to me, for us to take care of animals and the planet, and just the community . . . I think that Cebu and the Philippines have given so much to us as a company through the employees and people who participate in it. That this is the least that we can do.”
Other than the four organizations present during the MOA signing event, Full Scale partnered with charitable organizations in other parts of the Philippines. There will also be outreach programs in Davao, Manila, and Bohol.
All these programs will commence all at once on March 17, 2023, for Full Scale’s Nationwide Outreach Day.
