Jolony started his degree in medical technology before switching to information technology partway through. As a student, he juggled a development internship and a full-time mobile developer role at the same time. That stretch earned him a full-time offer from Full Scale, where he's now a Full Stack Developer.
"Not just changing a course, but answering a call that had been brewing inside me since the beginning."
— Jolony, on switching from medical technology to IT
Jolony graduated with a BS in Information Technology from the University of San Carlos – Technological Center in 2025. Before he finished, he was already working two development roles at once as a fourth-year student — an intern at SKANLOG Philippines and a lead developer at Sugbotek Inc.
Built the user management module and Azure Maps integration for a parking management system, then led the UI/UX design phase in Figma for a separate time-tracking app.
Lead developer on a three-person team building an emergency dispatch and response system for Cebu local government responders, solo-building the mobile app with real-time location tracking and voice/video chat.
Started on Full Scale's internal employee and PTO management tool, then earned a full-time offer.
As a student developer, Jolony led a three-person team building emergency-response software for local government responders. He's carried that same range, frontend to backend to mobile, into his work at Full Scale.
As lead developer, he solo-built the mobile app and integrated Stream.io, Socket.io, and Google Maps for real-time location tracking and voice/video chat between responders.
Built the User Management module with Keycloak authentication and Azure Maps features for locating and paying for parking, across both a web admin panel and a mobile app.
Built a real-time task timer and the client/location assignment logic connecting the Time Tracker app to Full Scale's central systems.
Debugged and maintained the application Full Scale's own team uses, resolving tickets on employee-manager mismatches and UI inconsistencies.
"A full-time offer from Full Scale. Not just a job, but a validation of my journey."
