Did you hear? December 2023 is a celebration of Full Scale’s successes and milestones.
Our Neon Beats Year-End Party was held on December 9 at the Summit Galleria, Cebu City. Dressed in bright neon outfits, Full Scale employees flew in from all over the Philippines to attend the neon-disco-themed party. Full Scale founders Matt DeCoursey and Matt Watson also flew in all the way from Kansas City, Missouri, to join the event.

A special award was also handed to Joselito Tapangan for his 10 years of service with Full Scale.
Dance-Off Competition and Raffle Draw
Just like at the previous year-end party, no one went home empty-handed. Full Scale teams competed in a Dance-Off Competition. And guess what? The winning team went home with a check for P20,000.
Lucky raffle winners also won awesome prizes like JBL Bluetooth Earphone, Nintendo Switch, and Nespresso Machine. But the luckiest of us all, Meryl Roa of the Marketing Team, won the night’s grand prize, taking home the latest iPhone 15. What a night to remember for these winners!
Major News: Full Scale Founder Matt DeCoursey Retires
Finally, the most shocking news of the night was the surprise reveal of Matt DeCoursey’s retirement. He officially passed the CEO title and sole company ownership to his cofounder, Matt Watson. The company will kickstart the new year under a new leadership.
Matt Watson and Matt DeCoursey founded Full Scale in 2018 to recruit software developers for their respective businesses, Stackify and Gigabook. Local Kansas City businesses took notice of the approach, and Full Scale employed 100 developers in the first year. The company’s five-year growth has landed it on the Inc. 5000 in 2022 and 2023.
With the appointment of our new CEO, Full Scale is now focused on company expansion. That means from employing 300 developers in 2023 to recruiting 500 employees and beyond in 2025.
Full Scale Welcomes New Top Executive, Matt Watson
Full Scale’s new CEO, Matt Watson, is a serial entrepreneur. He is best known for cofounding and serving as CTO of VinSolutions, which sold to AutoTrader.com in 2011 for nearly $135 million. The following year, AutoTrader.com tacked on an additional $13 million because VinSolutions met its financial targets for 2011. With over 20 years of experience in the SaaS industry, he plans to expand Full Scale’s talent pool to help even more businesses in the future.
Over Five (5) Years in the Business
Full Scale’s year-end party was a big success, reuniting over 300 employees and recognizing their major achievements of the year. Closing another chapter in 2023, Full Scale continues its commitment to delivering quality software development services to its clients.  Â
