Full Scale Outreach Day 2024: A Holistic Approach
Full Scale’s Outreach Day is more than a one-time event; it reflects our company’s core values and commitment to making a difference.
Throughout the year, our CSR initiatives focus on four key pillars: Education, Environment, Animal Welfare, and Community development.
Here are our activities for this year’s Community Outreach. We hope you’ll learn as much about our efforts as we enjoyed serving our communities.
CSR for the Community: Pangan-an Island – A Commitment to Sustainable Development
This year, we proudly return to Pangan-an Island as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Our drive to support Pangan-an Elementary School remains unwavering.
We’re thrilled to have donated a new comfort room to enhance sanitation facilities and celebrated the groundbreaking of a new covered court, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership.
In addition, our CSR Community Team helped the community kick off the Brigada Eskwela at Pangan-an Elementary, painting the outside walls of four classrooms.
Full Scale remains committed to the sustainable development of Pangan-an Island, making meaningful, lasting impacts every step of the way.
CSR for the Environment: Securing Marine Habitats and Empowering Local Stewards
As part of our “Project SAVE: Adopt an MPA” initiative, we’ve partnered with the Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation (CCEF) to adopt the Lagundi Reef Marine Sanctuary in Talisay City, Cebu.
On Outreach Day, our CSR Environment team, CCEF staff, and local organizations conducted a mangrove planting and coastal clean-up event in the Mananga River.
Together, we planted 300 Avicennia mangroves and collected 2,190 kilos of trash, significantly impacting the local ecosystem and raising awareness about environmental conservation.
CSR for Education: Enhancing the Learning Environment
Our ongoing commitment to education led us to continue our partnership with Cebu City National Science High School.
This year, we donated additional new CPUs to enhance the learning environment further and provide students with improved access to technology.
The official handover ceremony was a highlight of the day as we celebrated the students’ access to modern learning tools.
CSR for Animal Welfare: Caring for our Furry Friends
Full Scale has returned to Island Rescue Organization (IRO) for this year’s Outreach Day.
Building on the success of last year’s shelter construction, this year’s mission focused on providing essential care and promoting to find forever homes for these lovable animals.
Despite the rainy weather, the rescued dogs welcomed us with warmth, and we were able to deliver sacks of food supplies, cleaning materials, and pet toys to the shelter.
CSR in Bohol: Empowering the Next Generation
In Bohol, our outreach efforts focused on Panglao Central East Elementary School, where we provided financial assistance to procure materials needed for the school’s flagpole renovation project.
The school welcomed us with garlands and a short program to express their gratitude for the support, further strengthening our connection with the community.
CSR in Manila: Reforesting the Sierra Madre
In cooperation with Fostering Education & Environment for Development, Inc. (FEED), our Manila teammates embarked on a tree-planting initiative in the Sierra Madre.
Together with Full Scale employees and other volunteers, we planted 200 seedlings of local endemic trees, contributing to a greener future and reducing carbon dioxide in the region.
CSR in Davao: Supporting Animal Welfare
The Davao team dedicated their Outreach Day to supporting the Bantay Hayop Davao animal shelter.
They donated essential supplies, including cat and dog food, new beds, and vitamins, to improve the living conditions and overall health of the animals under the shelter’s care.
The immediate impact of their contributions was truly heartwarming.
